Rua das Flores is a walking street fulfilled with personality! During the day, you will always find someone performing (music / acting / painting). Have breakfast or lunch in one of the many cafes, you won't be indifferent to the facades of these places! You'll be able to find really beautiful…

Rua da Flores is certainly one of the most touristic streets in the city of Porto. It wasn’t always like this. This street, that crosses São Bento Station and São Domingos Square, was the old street of merchants and aristocrats. Crossing Rua das Flores is not always an easy task, given the amount of…

You’ll be in a walking distance from São Bento Train Station and also from Ribeira, the riverside historical center of Porto. Don’t miss a chance to walk along these historical streets and look up. Because we’re all used to living in modern cities where there’s not much to look at on the façade of…

Beautiful street filled with lots of mini restaurants of lots of homely cooked food, lots of designer shops and traditional souvenirs, all mixed with modern and contemporary shops that make a beautiful contrast and have some great design work. Lots of buskers on this street, not that that is a…

Really classic Porto street, with a lot of excitement, live music, souvenir stores, cafés and restaurants (and people, too)! Exactly in the heart of Porto. A unique experience!

Beautiful and iconic street that connects the São Bento train Station to Ribeira, down by the river. Most of the buildings were renovated, keeping the typical Porto’s architecture. It’s a pleasant street to walk and feel the city. You'll find all kind of cafés, restaurants, shops and small museums…

“This owes its planning to the visionary spirit of the Almadas whose restoration work brought a new brightness to the city of Porto in the second half of the 18th Century. The road was extended as far as Alameda da Aguardente, today's Praça Marquês de Pombal. Its imposing façades house some fine examples of the Art Nouveau style. Over 1500 metres long, the Rua de Santa Catarina, part of which has been pedestrianised, is the busiest shopping street in the city centre with clothing stores, haberdashery, shoe shops, the Via Catarina shopping mall and countless street vendors, less or more legal and carts selling handicrafts and jewelry.”

“The imposing Avenida dos Aliados is the heart of the city, a sloping boulevard lined with grand buildings and a central promenade. The city hall sits at the top of the Avenue.”

“When Googling this park, if you’re faced with a bunch of fiberglass dinosaurs, then you’re in the wrong Crystal Palace. Despite the lack of prehistoric models, these gardens are somewhat more exotic than what London has to offer. Not only does this verdant paradise have a maze of walkways, tree-lined waterways, sculptured topiary and a huge domed pavilion (all thanks to German landscape architect Emile David), but it overlooks the Douro River too.”
