There are 3 entrances to this metro station. The closest one is at 7th and D Street, but the one at 7th and Maryland isn't too hard to find. You have to purchase a smart card to use the metro, which you can do from a machine at the station.

If you are on the Mall at lunchtime near the Air & Space museum, check out the area near L'Enfant Metro Station because there are always amazing food trucks there.
