Kiva Dunes is next door to the Plantation. It is close enough to walk to if you prefer. The food is delicious. It has a nice menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A pizza menu is also available as well as delicious drinks. It is open 7 days a week until 7:00 PM. I've never had to wait to be seated.

The layout was created by Jim Edgemon, the property’s developer, and longtime friend and former U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate. The two share a love of the sport, which led to the partnership that resulted in the No. 1 public golf course in Alabama: Kiva Dunes.
