“1.8 miles from the bungalows, about a 35/40min walk. Dogs run free of leashes, dig in the sand, run in the waves, & chase sandpipers. ”

“I absolutely love this ferry!! You can drive your car, bike or walk onto! You get a whole view of the Harbor while crossing and during summer months get to avoid the bumper to bumper traffic down the peninsula. There are numerous parking lots directly across from the ferry on peninsula side and is less than 4 miles from the boat!”

“25-Minute Drive - The amazing thing about this place is that it's totally free and all you need to do is bring some snack to eat, which you can buy at the Trader Joe's right behind you! This truly is an amazing spot to watch the sunset. There are two sets of Adirondack chairs facing the water on the Trader Joe's side of the Shopping Center parking lot. Look for them at the edge of parking lot closest to Pacific Coast Highway just north of Maestro's restaurant. Get there about 20 minutes before sunset to guarantee a spot. But they often are empty. The fact that it's there free to enjoy is what makes this place so surprising. ”
