Another great pub and restaurant set in the countryside. Good food, famous for its 10 mile breakfast on the weekend - it is also a regular for our lovely royals Will and Kate.

The Mole and Chicken is a wonderful country pub and restaurant, set high on the border offering outstanding views across Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire. The 60 cover family run restaurant is headed up by General Manager Kelly Cherry and her fantastic knowledgeable, friendly team. The kitchen team is lead by our new member of the Mole and Chicken family, Jan Hvizdos, Jan is a classically trained chef and has previously worked at the Fat Duck group. His new menu will bring a burst of freshness and excitement and will offer modern European classic British dishes. Jan is also a keen gardener and forager and he is setting up his own mole and chicken allotment where we can grow and source our own vegetables to provide field to fork ingredients for our dishes. A well chosen wine list accompanies the a la carte menus. We are a totally dog friendly establishment; come and meet our resident pub dog Buddy. In the winter months you can relax in front of the roaring open log fire or in warmer weather come and sit on our new terrace area, pop in to enjoy a quick drink or settle in for a relaxing time in the sun and lap up the stunning views and let our amazing staff take care of you. Our favourite pub/restaurant. A quintessential English country pub with amazing food, a log burner and a lovely terrace with beautiful views across the countryside in the summer.
