The ferry offers excellent transport from Puntarenas. It leaves at 5:00, 9:00, 11:00, 14:00, 17:00, 20:30 and takes just over an hour to arrive here in Paquera. Cost $1.70. Air conditioned.

CAR FERRY! Very cool. From Puntarenas to Nicoya Peninsula. Get in line, park, then get your tickets at the office on the corner. just ask and follow where they point. Driver is included with car price, but there is a per person ticket price too. Driver drives on by passengers must walk on. Disabled can drive on with driver, and there is a very cool elevated stair lift!
