Tiny neighborhood soul food restaurant, best for take out unless you manage to get a seat at one of the two small dining room tables. Super friendly and welcoming staff, terrific bbq, rotating specials, and an array of side dishes that will make your mouth water. Try a Jamaican beef patty while you wait for your order. The fried chicken is amazing- that's one item you might want to eat right away so you can enjoy the skin while it's deliciously hot and crispy. Know also that the chicken takes about 20 minutes, because it's cooked to order. Save room for banana pudding or their delicious pie.

Fried chicken, barbecue, & southern specialties. Open Wed—Sat 11 am–9 pm. Very limited seating, but it's super close by, so easy to bring takeout food home. Best to call ahead and order, since it sometimes takes awhile.

This hidden little cafe down the street is home to incredible soul food that has not only caught the eye of locals, but also Phantom Gourmet.
