This is a large a/c supermarket selling local and imported goods as well as a wide range of liquors. They also have a take out section of typico food. You can get all your supplies here!

La Colonia is an upscale supermarket different than Maxi Pali. La Colonia bags your groceries and helps you carry them to your car.

La Colonia is one of two major supermarkets in Nicaragua (the other being La Union). La Colonia is comparable to shopping at major supermarkets in the States. In fact, aside from being smaller, it is exactly like "Stop and Shop," the major grocery store chain in NJ. This particular Colonia has a nice selection of wine, bears and hard liquors.
