Taking a drive the west side to see the Waimea Canyon is a must! I suggest doing some hiking while you are there! It's best to leave really early in the morning so you can get there early. It's a full day...but totally worth it!

Waimea canyon, also known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific", is a must see spot on your trip to Kauaʻi. The canyon is 10 miles long and 3,000 feet deep, with waterfalls and wildlife that can be spotted. If you are lucky, you can catch a breath-taking view of a rainbow
