What to do and what to visit: Rocche del Crasto. It is located between the municipalities of Alcara Li Fusi and San Marco d’Alunzio. It is a rocky massif on the sides of which griffon vultures and golden eagles nest. Catafurco waterfall. One of the most beautiful points of the Nebrodi Park. It is a jump of about thirty meters of the San Basilio stream. The waters of the waterfall rise in the so-called Marmitta dei Giganti, a natural cavity carved into the rock where it is possible to swim. Mistretta waterfalls. In total, the water jumps are seven. It is located on the slopes of Mount Soro. It is an artificial lake built around the 1980s by the Forestry. Routes There are three main itineraries to visit the Nebrodi Park: 1. DORSAL OF NEBRODI Route divided into three stages. First stage: from Serro Merio to Portella dell’Obolo, 21 kilometers to be covered in six hours. Second stage: from Portella dell’Obolo to Miraglia Refuge and Portella Maschio Morta, 24 kilometers to be covered in six hours. Third stage: from Portella Female Dead to Portella Dagara, 25 kilometers to be covered in seven hours. 2. PATH OF THE SOURCES Route of 18 kilometers in the territories of the municipalities of Bronte and Maniace. To be covered in seven to eight hours. 3. ROCCHE DEL CRASTO Here you can choose from three other itineraries. The first: from Portella Gazzana to the Malirò spring. The second: from the Lemina Bacco district to San Marco d’Alunzio. The third: from the Malirò spring to Portella Gazzana. Passeggiate nella natura, con sentieri sterrati, cascate del Catafurco, laghetti naturali, paesi da visitare tipici dei Nebrodi, Alcara Li fusi famosa per i grifoni (uccelli), San Marco d' Alunzio uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia. Isole Eolie a 30 minuti con collegamenti diretti dal porto di Capo d'Orlando
