This is a quintessential English, black and white, low beamed country pub in the village of Bishops Frome. The pub is a real ale venue and has been voted Herefordshire Country Pub of the Year and voted county winner of Pub of the Year in 2010. It has a warren of small rooms, each with its own real fire and the centrepiece is a grand inglenook fireplace. Very much a locals pub, attracting farm workers and the locals from the village. Always busy and a true pub like they don’t make any more! It does food, though is more of a beer pub. It has an outdoor eating and drinking area. (Please phone to check when they are serving food as we don’t tend to eat here often.)
