This is a convenient market/cafe/lunch spot. Great for a quick bite or a tasty breakfast treat with a coffee. This is also the place to go if you need a grocery item or 2 that you may have forgot from the grocery store.

Can buy some groceries & pre-made foods here. Not cheap, but its convenient and nice.

“Jack's Firehouse is a true old firehouse, with a crew boat mounted above the bar, and a fireman's pole in the back. Its a cool spot to sit outside next to the Penitentiary where Al Capone was incarcerated. There are really friendly bar tenders who play DJ in evenings to a great mix of music. Entrees and appetizers are good, and there is seating in the back as well. Note: there are no TV's. ”
