This is a dog park, but it connects to the Pacific Coast Trail that mostly spans the whole Bay Area. Park in the lot well-past Costco, walk along the trail that passes through restored wetlands and watch the shorebirds forage and soar or just stay within the dog park to watch delirious dogs bound and leap into the Bay channels to fetch balls.

Known as the "dog park" because locals can walk their dogs off leash and even let them swim in the bay. Fresh air, paved trail, and fabulous view of San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge.

Point Isabel is an awesome off-leash dog park. My dog gets to run around and play with other dogs, both large and small. There's even a little pool area for them to swim.
