Great place to take the kids so they can see history. They can also see just how big these ships really were.

This is a must if you have kids. However, if it’s summer go early to beat the heat or not at all. If the weather is nice you’ll have a blast.

Walk the decks of the mighty battleship, go below in the submarine Drum, and explore 20 historic aircraft, all here at the Battleship Park. The USS Alabama saw battle in both the Atlantic and Pacific and is the recipient of 9 WWII Battle Stars.

If you are a history buff or just enjoy taking a walk back in time, this is the place for you to visit. Only a short drive from Pensacola, you can visit the USS Alabama a retired battleship. She was the fourth and final member of the South Dakota class of fast battleships built for the United States…

Awesome 👍 slice of history and impressive power 💪 from an earlier time. see the WWII submarine the USS Drum while you are there. Hard to imagine that many men in such small quarters. Movies make them seem bigger.

“*On Mobile Bay* Reserve your seating ahead of time and try to go before or after popular eating hours. Most all causeway seafood restaurants are fabulous if this one has a long wait. Especially BlueGill and Original Oyster House! Kids will love the Ralph & Kacoos alligator area. ”
