Walking in City Hall Park is my daily meditation. A gathering place for all ages, the fountain is joy in summer or winter (when it's filled with evergreens). And at night it shimmers by gas lanterns.

Just over one block away is this park in front of City Hall. At the center is a gorgeous fountain and several lawns showcasing the Public Art Fund's "Art in the Park" with sculptural and multimedia art installations. Enjoy the sights from a park bench, watch NYC life go by and the squirrels eat right out of people's hands.
