This is a great walk with amazing views at the top. Take water and light cool clothes. Best time is in the morning as it's very exposed to the sun. Diamond head walk is moderate difficulty 1.6 mile. Bus, drive, shuttle bus or take a tour. If you take a bus, get off at the closest bus stop and walk to crater. This is the cheapest but involves more walking. Note: booking is required now
