Cornell University - too many activities to list (music, concerts, theatre), plus beautiful campus, museums, libraries, and natural areas.
Ithaca, home to Cornell University, walk around the beautiful campus, take in the architecture. The university is spread out, crosses multiple waterfalls, bridges and gorges.
There are many fine institutions of higher learning in this area, with Cornell University and Ithaca College heading the local list. (I have campus maps and other information specific to those colleges.) If you are here for general colleges visits, you may also consider visiting these schools,…

“Beautiful campus situated on the hills, in my opinion IC has the greatest view of our beautiful Cayuga Lake and overlooks the city. ”

“Whatever the weather, the local farmers/vendors are hard at work providing you excellent products. Summer time or winter time. The location might change but not the quality.”

“For a small museum this has a lot of interesting bits and bobs. The lowest level holds a mastodon found in NY state. As you wind your way down the stairs, the museum exhibition travels through geologic time. There may be a volunteer working on fossils in the entrance area and they have a small shop which sells science related toys and fossils. Five minutes away on Rte 96.”
