This museum is across from one of the entrances to Woodlawn Cemetery. It's the former home of escaped slave, John W. Jones. In addition to explaining the importance of Jones and Elmira's role in the Underground Railroad, the museum highlights the history of African Americans who settled in the Southern Tier of New York.
