A steady uphill 3 mile hike to a mountain waterfall. This is a locally owned hiking area - there is a $10.00 entrance fee.

• El Salto Waterfall hike is beautiful and is a great way to escape a hot day. Just outside Arroyo Secco. There are suppose to be 7 waterfalls. The hike is 5 minutes to the first waterfall the rest are a steeper climb and may require you to crawl on your hands and knees. Look up El Salto Waterfall New Mexico for details and directions. Don't forget to stop and pay the entry fee on the way in. It is only $2.50 but the locals don't like it if you don't pay.
