Weracoba park is the oldest, large-scale, daily use recreational facility within the city. Park amenities include tennis courts, walking trail, fitness trail, basketball courts, baseball field, bandshell, softball field, soccer field, football field, playground, grills, covered area, and rental facilities.

Lake bottom park is located across the street from Columbus High School. It has a gravel track, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields and a relaxing atmosphere.
