Explore the World Famous Intrepid Museum on an actual ship. A Must see right off the west side highway and 42nd Street tourist district with restaurants, shows, and some of Manhattans greatest Big Lights and Sightseeing!
i recommend it because i was there a couple of months ago and it'a a good sightseeing
5 minute walk. Similar to the Midway museum in San Diego, this place is great if you like history.
The intrepid is stunning if you have never been on a big battleship before. It's worth checking out and in the summer months they host free film screenings right on the top deck.
Great Museum with activities and historic walkthroughs of the U.S.S. Intrepid, Enterprise Space Shuttle, and so much more! Tickets sold separately on museum's website. Tickets and Proof of Vaccine required for entry.
You can go inside if you want but just enjoying the views is nice too. Plenty of parks, green grass, and walking opportunities by the water. Daytime is best but it's still safe at night as well - and not nearly as crowded.
