Park here for amazing walks into the heart of the mountains, or take a mountain bike. Look out for red squirrels and watch out for the ghost on the upper slopes.

Situated outside Braemar and not as indicated near Ballater! A great place to park up and enjoy a walk along the River Dee as it plunges through a gorge. When that is complete continue on along the road for a couple of miles to the equally spectacular Linn of Quoich. Both favourite walking places of ours.

Wow! Stunning location. The bridge spans between a tight gorge with a number of pools, when on the right day can be a great place to swim. Super photogenic surrounds by the great Scots Pine and roaming deer. The parking leads onto a multitude of different walks ranging in length and grade.
