The Hessenpark is well worth a visit - allow two or three hours, maybe more! It is a collection of faithfully rebuilt houses in various old-fashioned styles, but with the added attraction that they are used to demonstrate older, sometimes almost forgotten skills such as leatherwork, weaving, basketmaking, baking and ironwork. Who knows, it may just inspire your new hobby!
