Clay is humble, of the earth; it is fluid and ever changing. So too, is the menu at Clay — driven by the seasons, the mood of the chef, and what is fresh and exciting. All produce, meat, and fish is sourced from small, local suppliers; nothing is mass-produced or served out of season; everything is farm-to-table. Wines are spirits come from small producers, both seasoned veterans and ground-breaking upstarts alike — who care about their terroir and couple minimal intervention with maximum innovation. Even the dinnerware is handmade in Brooklyn by a local artist, Wynne Noble.

Dinner & Bar Seasonal, farm-fresh New American cuisine & craft cocktails served in an intimate, elegant interior.
What was once a jazz club is now a small, stylish bistro with dishes such as grass-fed steak tartare and short rib ragu. It’s an ambitious neighborhood restaurant, one that takes extra care in sourcing, from its meats to its mainly natural wines.
A sophisticated new restaurant with fresh ingredients and farm to table dishes. It's got a chill vibe that's great for brunch or dinner. Great for cocktails, too!
Upscale, sophisticated food. A little pricey and don't go hungry, but i still recommend it.

“Top 3 cocktail bars that I have ever been to. The main bartender works Monday through Friday. He is amazing!!! The food is tasty as well. Small plates but full of flavor. ”

“For truly outstanding sushi, head to the heart of Harlem, where Chef Shinichi Inoue—formerly of Sushi Azabu—presides over this discreet and unexpected addition to the neighborhood. Very expensive, very special sushi. Definitely a special night out.”
