If you can by chance snag a parking spot this is a great place for swimming, hanging out and enjoying the water. Try to get their early (or sometimes spots open late afternoon).

Swimming Hole. Farther down from Kaaterskill Falls, this small gorge has boulders you can safely jump off, and lots of places to warm up in the sun after a dip in the chilly water. 35 minutes away.
