Any time of the year it is worth a visit here, but in summer it is almost a must, though it is also pretty packed in August. The beaches with the cristallo clear waters are ideal for bathing, snorkelling and diving. The afternoon when the winds blows from the seas it is a windsurfer paradise. Though for hikers and climbers the ridge of the 600 meters high mountains that falls straight into the water is a challenge rewarded once you reach the beaches that can otherwise only be accessed by boat. It is also a very popular site for paraglider.
