Located Downtown near the end of the Scioto Mile (a walking/bike path along the river), Bicentennial Park is home to many summer festivals and events along with giant fountains that the kids can play in Keep in mind that street parking around this area is metered M-Sat., Free Sundays. There are not physical meters in most places, so keep an eye out for meter boxes or signs with mobile payment instructions

Amazing few of downtown and great place to take kids for some summer fun

One of the best views of the city is within Bicentennial Park. A short walk to downtown for lunch after exploring the riverside. There are frequent festivals along the bridges at the park along with kayaks/canoes for rental.
