Great views overlooking the canyon, even if you don't take the tour! Cave of the Winds is a cave in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado. It is located just west of Colorado Springs on U.S. Highway 24, near the Manitou Cliff Dwellings. Tours of the complex of caves are given daily.
Amazing cave tours! If you’ve never gotten the chance to travel into the underground, THIS is it! Definitely worth the time
Journey to the center of the earth!! Maybe not the Center- but enjoy walking through caves and stalactites, as well as a laser light show. 40min away.
A large park the offers cave tours for the whole family. If you are looking for more adventure you can try their ride that suspends you into the middle of the canyon, the via ferrata, or ziplines.

“Broadmoor Seven Falls is 224 steps up a series of waterfalls. Take the steps to hiking trails and streams that feed the 181-foot drop of falling water at the falls. Seven Falls; the only Colorado waterfall on the National Geographic's list of international wonders.”

“Such a well known beauty that even a song was written about it, America the Beautiful. Less than 30 miles away. The new cog railway is up and running to enjoy the trip to the top if you choose. There is a new building atop of the mountain as well. (Mom bragging here-my second son is a welder and worked on some of the structures that have been built up there 😍)”

“A Colorado Springs must see/do I recommend going early, especially in the summer, and not just going through the main part of the rock formation on the concrete path, but also explore a little around on the hiking trails. Balanced rock is not to be missed, so is the Trading Post gift shop and the visitor center. It also is great to see the gardens at different times, like morning and evening.”
