This is a great place to stop for lunch! Normally plenty of parking by boat or car. 2 min drive from cottage and 5 min by boat from our community rec area

While a little bit of a further drive (approx 40 minutes), this restaurant has a fun atmosphere in the summer months- live music on the weekends (Saturdays and select Sundays); tiki bar; outside dining on the beach; and a lakefront dining experience. This is not your "fine" dining, but a great bar and grill - perfect for families or just hanging out, with a selection of seafood, burgers, and more.

The Pointe has informal dining, a really cute bar, and is reachable by car or boat. I like the steamed shrimp with Old Bay.

Atmosphere. Restaurant overlooks Lake Gaston and on the week-end the place to go!
