In the basement of your building. Locally owned. A locals favorite for coffee, tea, smoothies, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Sunday brunch, dessert, mixed drinks. Get it to go or enjoy comfy seating and free WiFi.

Voted “Best of the Upstate” for a Coffeehouse, Coffee Underground is literally underground. You take the stairs at the corner of Coffee St and Main St down to this cozy and spacious coffee house. They have excellent lattes and cappuccinos, and individual French Presses you can use to sample coffee flavors from around the world. Couple this with their delicious sandwiches and exquisite desserts and cheesecakes and you’ve got a great atmosphere for a conversation, writing inspiration, and more. Occasionally they also have live comedy and other special events. Definitely worth a visit.

Cozy, locally-owned coffee shop with great networking spaces. The Strawberry Cake is not to be missed!

This downtown, underground space is very cool, with wi-fi, great food and even beer and wine. Service is slow, but if you're hanging out surfing the web, who cares? Great for meetings!
