For a peaceful walk with beautiful scenery I’ve been here several times. And during part of the warmer times of the year there are so many butterflies to be seen nearby. Around the Christmas holidays they normally have live music Christmas lights and my favorite was the hot apple cider drinks.

This is one of my favorite places in the city and in my opinion, one of the best botanical gardens in the country. It showcases the magic that is desert plant life. There are a lot of great events throughout the year.

Right next door to the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Garden is the perfect outdoor spot to take a peaceful walk among Arizona's horticulture. The garden is suitable for all ages and is open throughout most of the year. As of this moment, advanced tickets are required for entry.
