Wolf Creek Falls has been a best kept local secret for decades – our neighbor (Mr. Frisbee) filled us in on this local spot a few years ago, and we even referred to it as “The Secret Waterfall” to guests until 2018, when it became listed on internet map searches. It is a bit of an adventure to get to Wolf Creek Falls but it is well worth the journey. Drive straight past the parking area for Max Patch (the parking area should be on your right). Continue for about 4miles on this road – the gravel should change color at some point. There will be a sign on the left that says “Rattlesnake Gap,” take a right once you reach the entrance Rattlesnake Gap. On the left there will be signs for “Wolf Creek Falls” on the left. Park at the entrance. From there, it is about a quarter mile hike to the waterfall, which is 75-100ft high.
