Town that historically served as the hub of the area's bungalow communities. Over the past few years, there's been a bit of a revival after a few decades of disinvestment. Canal street now has a few great restaurants, including Aroma Thyme and Gabby's Mexican. Top Shelf Jewelry has some really funky vintage clothes and knick-nacks, Berme Road park has a fantastic playground and leads to hiking trails up the Shawangunk Ridge.

Ellenville has a nice, cute main street with multiple shops and restaurants, even a small producing theatre! There is a Shop Rite grocery store, multiple pharmacy chains, hardware store, hospital, etc. The nearest town with full services. Highly recommend Gaby's for mexican food.

Ellenville is about 15 minutes down 209 from Kerhonkson and has a quaint Main Street with some good local eateries. In Ellenville, to mention, you can find stores like Walmart and Stop N' Shop, bigger box places.
