If you're tired of the same ol' scene on Beale Street, head UPSTAIRS to the Absinthe Room above Kings Palace Cafe. The entrance from the street is easy to overlook, but it's a nice little secret hideaway amidst all the craziness.

King's Palace Cafe is a fabulous restaurant and club that serves up jazz and Zydeco music and arguably the best Cajun food in the city such as crawfish, gumbo, and even alligator.
