This might be a funny thing to suggest but in the heart of Newtown is Camperdown Park, a great place with a playground and lots of space for picnics and parties. But even cooler is inside the middle of the park is an extremely old cemetery that is absolutely beautiful.

My personal favourite dog park. The hipsters also have picnics here in nice weather, sometimes they play guitars, that's fun for everyone.

If you fancy a walk to get your coffee, there are a couple of cafes next to this park and you can sit on the grass.
