Hands down the best place to ski/board in our area if you are comfortable getting off the green runs. Nothing compares to the backside of Lake Louise! If you can get yourself down a blue run comfortably, definitely check out Lake Louise, its worth the drive.
Lake Louise is a 55-minute drive. We love the Back Bowls, or riding the Larch Chair and hitting the Temple Lodge for lunch or some apres. skilouise.com
Beautiful in winter and summer, "the Lake" is my favourite place to downhill ski. The views from the Summit platter are incredible. You can buy a Louise Card before December 25th and take advantage of 3 free days and discounts on other days; perfect if you are staying for a week or more.
