Beaches - to reach beach(es), exit the complex and turn left on Niguel. Then turn right onto Crown Valley Parkway until you reach PCH. One of my favorite beaches here in yes, “the” OC, and closest, is Salt Creek Beach. To get there, turn left onto PCH and then right onto Ritz Carlton Drive. To your left is public parking (for a fee). Take a walk down the path to the beach where you can watch local surfers catch waves, or go for a swim in the ocean. For those with the budget, the Ritz has an amazing Sunday brunch. It is truly a splurge.

If you love to surf, here’s a great spot. There’s also gorgeous views and a nice green belt for picnics.

Salt Creek Beach Park often hosts many events such as movies by the beach & concerts!

This beach has the softest sand around and beautiful views from the park above. But be prepared to walk the hill. Golf carts will transport you during the day for a few dollars.

Salt Creek is a California State Beach and is known for excellent surfing. There is a large, grassy hill which goes down to the beach. The grassy hill is great for picnics and/or watching the sunset with friends / family. The Laguna Beach Trolly does make stops at Salt Creek during the summer time and there are also occasionally concerts at Salt Creek Beach.
