£££ Casa Mia - for a very special occasion. Book a long time in advance. This Michelin Star Restaurant is one of the finest in the UK. If youre a foodie the tasting Menu with wine flight is worth every penny & like taking a trip to the theatre!

Michelin star restaurant. You will probably have had to book in to this place before booking your B&B! Still worth a try for last minute cancellations.

With its 14-course tasting menu, space for just 35 diners, restricted opening hours and contemporary good looks, Michelin-starred Casamia is everything you would expect from an ambitious destination restaurant in one of Britain’s most vibrant cities. But it is also somewhere that fully lives up to its homely name: son Peter is in the kitchen, dad Paco runs front of house and mum Sue is in charge of accounts. Peter Sanchez-Iglesias is without doubt one of the country's most creative chefs, but with his restaurant family now including tapas options next door and a splashy launch in London, he is also one who instinctively knows that eating out is as much about enjoyment as invention.” The hugely impressive harbourside restaurant is located on the ground floor of the old Bristol General Hospital building. Inside it’s “simple but stylish”, surprisingly warm and inviting, with enthusiastic staff aiding and abetting the busy chefs as they take diners on an immensely flavoursome gastronomic journey inspired by the seasons.
