We love to boat, and this is our go-to place. The water is typically 80* in the summer, and with clear clean water in addition to low boating traffic, this place should not be missed.

Trails through the woods. One trail brings you by a few old homesteads/cemeteries. A good place to cross-country ski in winter. They have dog sledding there as well (it's a third party company)

The state park features camping, access to the largest earthen dam in the world and a plethora of hiking trails, many former roads of a vanished community relocated in the 1930s when the dam was built
