The Grand Canyon is approximately 2.5 hours from Winslow and has both the North and South rims that are open to visitors. The South rim has more visitor centers and services. The canyon offers spectacular views and you can also hike or take a trip down the canyon by burro!

If you are in Arizona and can take a day trip to see the Grand Canyon, please take time to do it. It is a wonder of the world. If you are a seasoned hiker, you may want to take the trail down. Check it all out first. Another tributary of the Colorado is called . The Havasupai. The Native Americans who live here don’t mind tourists and you will see some amazing pools of water.

You will need least a full day. Often guests will stay over one night at Grand Canyon so they can explore for two days. We have had guests do it in a day. We also had guests flying out and decided to do a picnic the night before and stay there.
