“Fly through the forest at speeds up to 35 mph on nine high-speed zipline runs that gradually become longer, faster and higher off the ground as you go. Catch amazing views of Johnson Valley and the highest peak in Southern California, Mt. San Gorgonio. Trek a teetering suspension bridge over mountain terrain right after your first zipline. Our expert staff of tour guides will show you how to have the most fun ziplining in Big Bear. Travel through town on the way to and from the course with our knowledgeable drivers and learn about our town’s other activities, places to stay, and amazing restaurants to visit during your stay.”

“Hands Down the Best Bagels in town. We go here for brunch usually. Their soups are really good too and we usually sit by the fire-pit outside.”

Trail
“The Cougar Crest Trailhead is located on North Shore Drive, State Highway 38, approximately 0.6 of a mile west of the Big Bear Discovery Center and 2 miles west of the Stanfield Cutoff. You may also access the trail by parking at the Discovery Center to take the extension paved path that leads you to the trailhead. On the Cougar Crest Trail you will walk through a wide variety of natural environments. The first mile is a gentle uphill climb, but after a mile or so you will realize you are gaining altitude. The Cougar Crest Trail ends at the juncture of the world famous 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. Bicycles are not permitted on the PCT.”

Trail
“he Castle Rock trailhead is located 1.1 miles east of the Big Bear Dam on State Highway 18 or 3 miles west of the Big Bear Lake Village. There is limited parking 50 yards east of the trailhead in a turnout on the north side of the highway. The Adventure Pass is not required on the turnout. There is a small sign marking the Castle Rock Trailhead across the highway. Although it's not a long hike, the elevation gain is 500 feet, making it a steep climb by any standards. From here its 0.5 of a mile of a steep trail then it levels out for another 0.5 of a mile of less steep trail. Castle Rock is a large 100 ft outcropping from immediately east of the saddle. This trail offers spectacular views of the lake and an opportunity to see pines, white fir trees and cedars.”
