Our local museum which has a mishmash of exhibits. In one room you can find dinosaurs, old cars, shipwreck treasures and a Tasmanian Tiger! There's a hands-on science room which is fun for all ages and a planetarium. General entry is free which we like! They also have some excellent touring…

Situated in old repurposed industrial buildings with a train station past, this museum and art gallery is a great place to visit. one of my favourites. Great for families and anyone really. The planetarium it has been said is one of the best in the world.
The Museum is where you'll find Tasmanian history and natural science collections and the Art Gallery is where you can experience ten galleries, the Guan-Di Temple and the ArtSparks! Family Art Space.
