I would recommend daytime visitation to the Historic Irving downtown district then going to Historic Downtown Grapevine, TX for dining and entertainment.

Grapevine Historic Main Street filled with cute stores, great restaurants, local winery tasting rooms, ice cream & chocolate shops, and fun bars! Complete with a vintage railroad station. Nice to walk down the street in the early evening to do some shopping and sightseeing, then finish with dinner and some wine.
