This place must be doing something right. They have been around for ever and they get great reviews. We've had several finger-licking family dinners here over the last 20 years or so, and still go back. Parking can be a bit restricted but not a big problem. If you love barbecue, go.
I recommend eating in sweatpants - delicious ribs and hearty sides. Snag a couple extra sauces for fries!
Great BBQ in a historic location. Make sure you take in the views on the river walk that goes behind the restaurant!

“Probably the oldest Mediterranean restaurant in Rochester. Always great quality and large portions of freshly prepared salads, pasta and Greek specialties. Never a bad meal since I first ate there in 1995. ”

“Hard to compete with Strong, but this museum also has much to offer, of interest to adults and children. We recommend a visit.”

“"What do you do when you’re craving some warm and delicious comfort food during the wee hours of the morning? If you live in the Rochester, NY area, your first stop should be Steve T. Hots & Potatoes to satisfy breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in-between hunger pangs. The family-owned and operated 24-hour restaurant has a menu that appeals to everyone. Customers love the “Famous Plates,” because of the heaping helping of onions, mustard and Steve T. Hots & Potatoes’ very popular hot sauce served on scrumptious Italian sausage links and Zweigles hot dogs. Add your choice of crispy home fries or french fries, yummy beans or tasty macaroni salad to complete your plate."”
