For traditional Mayan food, a good alternative to Chaya Maya. The best Sopa de Lima in Merida! Very close to Las Escaleras.

Nice bar area, great patio to try the Yucatecan food. This one is less popular and crowded than Chaya Maya but the quality of the food is same.

Great for a cocktail and appetizers, good for lunch or dinner in the classic courtyard setting of an old, updated colonial. You might start with the Ceveche.
