Thirteen-mile trail ideal for biking, running, or walking. Runs from Hopewell Junction, through Poughkeepsie and the Walkway over the Hudson, all the way to Ulster County across the river where you can access an additional 4-miles of the Ulster Rail Trail.
13-mile multi-use linear Dutchess County park, stretching from Hopewell Depot in East Fishkill through LaGrange and Poughkeepsie to the Walkway Over the Hudson. Parking at several locations along the trail. Non-motorized use for walking, biking and rollerblading, as well as, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
The Dutchess Rail Trail is a 13-mile rail trail that stretches from the former Hopewell Junction train depot, north to the Poughkeepsie entrance of the Walkway over the Hudson. It's a shared use rail trail open for pedestrians and bicyclers. The Dutchess Rail Trail forms part of the Empire State Trail.
