“Slightly biased, as I am part of the two-person crew who programme musical offerings in the Traverse bar every Monday, but outside these gigs you’ll find the best new writing in theatre here. Check out the programme and try something new.”

“A great day out for all the family, an amazing insight into Scotland's past coupled with fantastic views over Edinburgh and the surrounding area. In the castle you will find "Mons Meg" this siege cannon can shoot a 330 pound stone almost 2 miles - now days it just gets fired to tell us its 1 o'clock everyday. You will also find Scotland's Crown Jewels and be amazed by the architecture of the castle that has been built on top of a dormant volcano. You will not be disappointed with the castle and all it has to offer.”
