Although the customer service has been hit and miss here, this is the best fine dining restaurant in the area, in my opinion. Of course, Ruth Chris's Steak House is superb, but it's a chain! Mermaid's is locally-owned by its chef. Don't let his whiteness fool you. He can cook!

It’s an easy walk to pasta, seafood and steak with posh decor, excellent service and nice patio. Operated by a longtime favorite Fayetteville chef Todd Golden.

Fine dining and local flair! Reservations required for dinner. Their menu has a variety of seafood, pasta, and steaks.
