Fish Creek Provincial Park is one of the largest urban parks in Canada. It protects much of the Fish Creek valley. The park extends from the Tsuu Tina Nation reserve in the west more than 20 km to the Bow River in the east.

The park features 80 kilometres (50 mi) of trails, of which 30 kilometres (19 mi) are paved,[2] and is home to a large variety of natural wildlife, including deer, coyotes, owls, and beavers. Over 200 bird species have been seen in the park include great blue herons.

One of the largest inner city natural parks in the world is located in Calgary. This park offers 100's of km's of walking/biking paths and nature inside the city. You can visit the ice caves in the winter or grab an ice cream at Annie's in the summer.
