A once-abandoned elevated train track that was transformed into a crazy-popular, bucolic walkway. It’s 1.45-mile park’s gardens, taking in sweet views of the Hudson, the Whitney Museum of Art plenty of pretty flowers and plants that are mostly indigenous to the region.
Worth checking out if you have the time. Great to pair with a visit to the Whitney museum, and lunch/drinks or shopping in Chelsea market
Great way to walk around the city and take in not just views but some history of NYC as well.
Beautiful urban park on an old lifted railway on the west side of Manhattan between 12th street (next to the Whitney Museum) and Hudson Yards. Suggest to walk the entire park, and can check few art galleries on 24th-27th streets between 10th and 11th avenues.

A converted raised railroad track built into a winding garden path with some art and snacks along the way
Beautiful above-ground public walk renovated from the original High Line Railroad. Views across the Hudson River and to the Statue of Liberty. Musical performances on weekends.
Relatively new attraction in the historic meatpacking district. Right next to Chelsea Market -- perfect for a stroll on a sunny day.
Easy to get to via the Hudson Line Metro North Train (to Grand Central Terminal). Walk along the HIghline for a nice and unusual view of NYC.
